COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is a leading apparel manufacturing organization specializing in woven ladies wear tops for global markets. The company is known for its strong production capabilities, quality focus, and commitment to operational excellence. As part of its continued growth and expansion, the organization is seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations and drive strategic operational performance across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide overall strategic leadership for all manufacturing and operational functions

• Oversee end-to-end operations including production, planning, quality, technical, engineering, and supply chain

• Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and profitability

• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business growth objectives

• Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining quality, compliance, and delivery standards

• Lead lean manufacturing, process optimization, and cost reduction initiatives

• Collaborate with customers, merchandising, and senior leadership teams for operational alignment

• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to ensure business performance targets are achieved

• Lead capacity expansion, transformation projects, and operational improvement initiatives

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and sustainability practices

• Develop and lead high-performing operational teams with strong leadership succession planning

• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 15–20+ years of experience in apparel manufacturing operations

• Minimum 8–10 years of senior leadership experience in large-scale manufacturing environments

• Strong exposure to woven apparel manufacturing, especially ladies wear tops

• Proven experience in export-oriented apparel manufacturing organizations

• Strong knowledge of production management, industrial engineering, quality systems, and supply chain operations

• Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence, productivity improvement, and business transformation

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align operations with business goals

• Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field will be an advantage
