
OVERVIEW
A leading medical manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead its overall manufacturing and technical operations. The ideal candidate should have strong senior-level experience in manufacturing operations, with direct exposure to medical gloves, surgical gloves or other glove manufacturing environments.
The key focus of this role is identifying a senior operations leader who understands glove manufacturing processes and can effectively manage both manufacturing and technical operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and oversee overall manufacturing and technical operations across the facility
• Develop and execute operational strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, quality and profitability
• Ensure production targets, quality standards and delivery requirements are consistently achieved
• Oversee manufacturing processes, production capacity, equipment utilization and operational performance
• Lead technical and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve operational challenges
• Monitor key operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where required
• Drive continuous improvement, process optimization and cost-efficiency initiatives
• Ensure effective manpower, machinery, material and resource utilization
• Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance and other functions to ensure smooth operations
• Identify and resolve technical and manufacturing bottlenecks
• Lead, mentor and develop senior operational and technical teams
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality, safety and manufacturing standards
• Report operational performance, challenges and improvement initiatives to senior management
PRE-REQUISITES
• Candidates currently working at Head of Operations, Head of Manufacturing, General Manager Operations, GM Manufacturing or equivalent senior levels
• Strong experience in Manufacturing Operations and Technical Operations
• Experience in Medical Gloves / Surgical Gloves manufacturing is highly preferred
• Candidates with experience in other types of Glove Manufacturing will also be considered
• Strong understanding of glove manufacturing processes, production operations and technical requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• MBA will be an added advantage
• Proven experience leading large manufacturing and technical teams
• Strong operational, technical, analytical and leadership capabilities
• Experience driving productivity, efficiency, quality and continuous improvement initiatives
PACKAGE: USD 6,000 – 8,000 per Month
