OVERVIEW

A leading apparel manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Chief Operations Officer to lead overall business and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Technical, Production, Marketing or related functions and have progressed into a senior Operations leadership role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and oversee overall operations across the organization

• Drive operational efficiency, productivity, quality and profitability

• Provide strategic leadership across Technical, Production, Marketing and other key functions

• Align manufacturing operations with overall business and customer requirements

• Lead cross-functional teams and drive effective coordination across departments

• Monitor operational performance, identify gaps and implement corrective actions

• Drive continuous improvement across processes and manufacturing operations

• Work closely with the CEO on business strategy, operational performance and organizational growth

• Manage and strengthen relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

PRE-REQUISITES

• Extensive experience in Apparel Manufacturing

• Strong background in Technical, Production, Marketing or related apparel functions

• Proven career progression into a senior Operations / General Management role

• Candidates with Sweater Manufacturing / Knitwear exposure will have an added advantage

• Strong leadership experience across multiple functions and teams

• Proven ability to manage large-scale manufacturing operations

• Strong strategic, commercial and operational capabilities

• Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills
