OVERVIEW

A leading apparel manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Head of Planning to lead the end-to-end planning function and ensure efficient production execution across the manufacturing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the overall planning function across apparel manufacturing operations

• Develop and monitor production plans based on order requirements and available capacity

• Ensure timely execution of production plans and adherence to delivery commitments

• Monitor production capacity, workloads, bottlenecks and critical planning issues

• Lead and develop the planning team to ensure effective execution of planning activities

• Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Production, IE, Supply Chain and other cross-functional teams

• Identify potential production and delivery risks and implement corrective actions

• Drive improvements in planning processes, systems and overall operational efficiency

• Monitor planning performance and ensure alignment between production capacity and order requirements

PRE-REQUISITES

• Apparel / Garment Manufacturing experience is mandatory

• Candidates at DGM, GM or Head level will be considered

• Strong experience in Production Planning and Process Management

• Proven experience leading planning functions and teams

• Strong experience with Fast React is highly preferred

• Overseas / International Apparel experience will be an advantage

• Strong understanding of capacity planning, production scheduling, order execution and delivery timelines

• Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively with Merchandising, Production, IE and Supply Chain teams
