A leading diversified business group with operations across multiple industries is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead the group’s financial operations.
The role requires a strong finance leader responsible for driving financial strategy, ensuring strong governance, and supporting sustainable growth across all business verticals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead overall financial strategy, planning, and execution across group companies
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated financial reporting
Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness
Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk across the group
Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and investment decisions
Drive profitability improvement and cost optimization initiatives
Oversee tax planning and statutory compliance
Support mergers, acquisitions, and new business ventures
Lead and develop finance teams across multiple sectors
Improve ERP systems and financial processes
Pre-requisites
Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
8–12+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles
Strong experience in multi-sector or diversified business environments
Solid background in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
Strong knowledge of IFRS, audit, and compliance standards
Experience in strategic planning and business partnering at senior level
Proven leadership and team management capabilities
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred
Exposure to investment analysis, restructuring, or M&A will be an advantage
